Your Torsion Spring's Specifications
There two main factors that homeowners need to pay attention to when getting new torsion springs. The first one is the lift. It shows how much weight the component can lift. When the lift is smaller compared to the weight of the door, the movement will be extremely slow. That is why the number has to be determined with great precision. In general, the amount of weight that a torsion spring can lift depends on its length and diameter and on the size of the steel wire which it is made from. The other major factor that requires close attention is the cycle life of the component. It shows how many cycles the spring should be able to perform. One cycle consists of one opening and one closing of the door. The longer the cycle life is the better. Our technicians are available to install and replace torsion springs of all sizes.
